Metabolomic testing helmholtz
WebNext, in order to test how many samples are needed to train metabolomic selection models, we performed a subsampling analysis in tomato. For this analysis we randomly selected 39 samples as the test set and trained the model with increasing training set sample sizes from 50 to 170 in steps of 10. WebMetabolomics can tell complex stories about the interactions of small molecules – the metabolites – in cells and body fluids. The approach thus allows researchers to investigate diseases, their causes, and potential treatments in a new and in-depth manner.
