WebAug 4, 2012 · I pulled the glovebox out, then removed the 2 small relays/control units that are in the way- in front of the access panel to the heater core. Removed the ~8 8mm head screws holding the access panel in place and removed the panel. Once I got the panel out, the heater core was staring me in the face!

TBH - Ford should recall all 2013-2016 F-350's to fix the DEF heater. They recalled 2011-2012 F-350, and 2013-2016 F450/F550's but not the 350's.

It certainly seems like a emissions control component, that renders the vehicle inoperable should be covered under the EPA mandated 8yr / 80k mile warranty.
